If you have a chance of growing Galanthus outside hills gardens then Elwesii would be the one. The leaves emerge in early winter and flowering is late winter. This is a large Galanthus with slightly glaucous foliage.
Galanthus are not happy being dry stored so I will dig them as per order and its important to get them in the ground as soon as possible. Plant the bulbs deep 20-25cm, they will have no trouble surfacing from this depth. The soil temperature at this depth is more likely to be consistent and cool. The best position for any Galanthus is deciduous shade. If you intend to grow them in pots plant the bulbs deep in the pot, when I’m repotting these bulbs have always pulled themselves right to the bottom of the pot. Keep the pots cool and dryish over summer, water them perhaps once in that time.
I will be selling these bulbs in multiples of 3
