Over the summer I will be able to dig rhizomes and post them dry.
This is a true spring empherial surfacing in late winter, flowering in early spring setting seed and gone by early summer. The rhizomes which resemble woody twigs sit close to the soil surface. I ideally this plant likes a thick mulch and humus rich soil. Deciduous shade is the idea situation so its in the sun over the flowering period then cool shade over dormancy.
