Aruncus aethusifolius

Aruncus are moisture loving perennials with plumes of white flowers early summer and exquisite foliage.
Aethusifolius is a tiny one, it makes small very tight clumps of beautiful finely dissected leaves, the white flowers are held way above its foliage. This one doesn’t have the high moisture requirements of its bigger relatives but still doesn’t like to dry out and grows in a semi shaded position.
Like all this genus it is slow to establish and slightly resentful of division, its best planted in the correct position then left undisturbed.
