Begonia polonaise

This Begonia has the appearance of a plant that is touchy. When I purchased it many years ago I expected its tenure to be brief but was very much mistaken. Polonaise is a tough rhizomatous Begonia that increases well making big clumps quite quickly. Like all Begonia it hates being constantly wet and requires very dry conditions before rewetting.

This begonia has very big soft foliage so it may be damaged by packing and posting but as long as the root system arrives in good order its recovery will be swift.
