Bergenia ciliata

Ciliata is a deciduous Begenia with very large hirsute leaves that appear after flowering in mid spring. The soft pink flowers are born on short stems in early spring. An easterly or lightly shaded position is good for this plant where it can make large clumps. It also makes a good tub plant.
