Carex oshimensis

This Carex turned up as a reversion from the variety evergold. I have had it in my garden now for years and it has never self seeded.
I find it to be a very useful plain green grass in the shade as a foil for Epimedium or Clivia. The flowering happens in late winter into early spring. Its foliage is evergreen and looks good all year round with no sign of that brown skirt so often associated with evergreen grasses.
The height is around 30cm with a 60cm radius.
