Fuchsia microphylla

The foliage and flowers of this shrub are micro its growth habit is not. It can grow 2m x 2m if left unchecked but responds very well to pruning. The small red flowers are almost always present and during spring/summer they’re abundant. Individual flowers are tiny but collectively they give the plant a red glow. This one is not a standout but is useful as a background shrub in a shaded border.
