Pterocephalus perennis var. parnassi

The Mount Parnassus scabious comes for southern and eastern Greece.

It has slightly glaucous foliage and pink flowers late spring early summer. This is a completely prostrate plant with flowers and foliage reaching only 5cm and gradually spreading out. I find this one difficult to grow in pots due to its dislike of too much moisture, in the garden it requires full sun and excellent drainage
