Rhododendron pemakoense

One of the finest small Rhododendron species. It is native to South eastern Tibet, China and India. I find plants with a wide natural distribution are often robust.
This little Rhododendron will grow to around 40cm and sucker lightly. The pinkish mauve flowers are borne in early to mid spring.
A very sheltered position in full to part sun suits it best
