Thalictrum kiusianum

From a genus renown for its tall perennials comes this tiny shade lover. Small mats of maidenhair like foliage and pink flowers which are held on stems well above the leaves. This is a plant for the well managed garden, its so tiny and easily overrun. The whole plant grows to only 15cm and gradually spreads out. While not bullet proof this little Thalictrum is much tougher than it looks.
