Tulip saxatilis is probably the most commonly grown species. This is a tulip that naturalises very easily, spreading by stolons it is with time capable of making large drifts. Its important to plant in full sun, if in shade the bulbs will multiply but flowering is sparse and the flowers only open when the sun is on them. As with most bulbs naturalising is a process which requires patience. I will be selling these bulbs in multiples of 5.
