My Begonia are grown in an unheated poly tunnel and our night temperatures at this time of year are low single digits so the plants look a little rough but are in excellent health. They will regenerate with the slightest increase in temperature. This one will be cut to the first bud. If the cuttings are viable I will enclose them.
Irene is a very robust cane type, its one of the more commonly grown canes and with good reason. The foliage has a strong red hue and the soft pink blooms are produced with profession in late Summer into Autumn. As with most begonia irene should be kept dry during the winter months, allows to dry out between watering at other times and liquid fed with each watering over the warm months.
