The last Cyclamen species to flower in spring repandum has a wide distribution around the Mediterranean from sea level to around 1500 metres. Its a woodland plant that likes winter wet and a cool dryish summer. Repandum is slow to increase but can over time make substantial drifts under deciduous trees. The tubers pull themselves down very deep and are quite small which is surprising given the volume of leaf and flower they produce.

I have just a few flowering or near flowering size tubers of this superb woodland Cyclamen.
These tubers have not surfaced yet so they are best left in their pots until the leaves are very obvious.
I have both the deep pink and rarer white forms in my garden so the seedlings may be either colour.
