The giant fleabane is a late spring early summer flowerer. It has large hirsute silver foliage and flowers at 1.5m or more. Being a member of asteraceae the flowers are daisy like and yellow. Despite appearances this is not a dry tolerant plant so does need a level of moisture. It self seeds lightly here but has never been a problem.
