Artemisia canescens

A low growing silver foliage plant with very finely dissected foliage. This is a great plant to use under and in front of roses or as  the front row in a perennial border where the silver foliage can highlight other colours. As with most artemisia a hard prune at flowering time will encourage more compact foliage and a denser habit.

Artemisia canescens loves dry weather and heat but hates growing in pots where over watering is inevitable. So please don’t be disappointed by the appearance of your plants on arrival, get them into the garden asap and they will reward you very quickly.
